Meaninfull Poem

This is for all of you that write poems that don't rhyme.


I see your face reflected in a puddle,
the light from your eyes sings to me like an opera in the clouds,
you say my name as beautuful as a poem full of italicized words,
I think to myself what bad analagies people use when writing those poems,
then i see another face reflected in the same puddle,
and it makes my eyes go dark, like a lightbulb burning out,
i scream your name but you don't answer me, like a deaf mute,
i curse the name of the other face, like a psychic who know's the name of someone he's never seen before,
but it's too late, that face takes yours away, like a river of tears,
then i realize that when i'm looking at the puddle i'm looking at myself, like a mirror,
and your face is the reflection of what is in my soul, like a photograph,
and the other guys face is my fears, like a jealous guy,
i scream out to you, and a big napkin comes and wipes away my tears, like kleenex,
then i look up and i see you holding the napkin, your hands like metal robotic pinchers, only with skin instead of metal,
you say my name, and then i realize that we've said each others name 4 or 5 times already,
you smile at me, and my fears melt away, like ice cream in a microwave,
i pick you up and carry you away, like superman.
